I'd just like to say thanks to all of you at the conference for giving me a warm welcome. It was great to see so many of you so I now know what you look like!
With me was a colleague from Trinidad who is setting up a hospital contact lens clinic with special reference to KC (as it is so prevalent out there). She was very impressed with the organisation and the conference in general and has taken the idea of the support group back with her to Trinidad. Thanks to Anne for sending me a package - its adding to the weight in her suitcase!
It was a very good day and I got to talk to some very interesting people.
Thanks again!
Lynn
Good to see you at the conference

Lynn,
A big thank you for coming to speak to us! It was a really interesting speech which I really enjoyed!
I am glad that you and Petra enjoyed the day and it is good that she had a lot of ideas to take back to Trinidad.
It is nice to be able to put faces to a name and I met loads of friends from here which was lovely! Talk to you soon love Sweet X x X

You did lose us because Petra was so cold with the wind and drizzle I took her back to thaw out at the hotel. She is not at all convinced we do actually sometimes have decent weather in the UK!
Keep me posted as to when you might arrive on the freezing East coast!
Lynn
PS You didn't look anything like I imagined but don't ask me WHAT I imagined as I am not sure!

Many thanks Lynn! And all the best to Petra in setting up a KC Group in Trinidad. Now there's a venue for our next conference - guaranteed sunshine!

Lynn,
I really enjoyed your presentation - especially hearing about Trinidad and the large number of KC cases over there.
Maybe we all have a little Trinidad or Tobago in us?

Somebody complimented me on my driving yesterday - they left a note on my windscreen "Parking Fine" which was nice.
KC managed with softperm lens in left eye, Intacs (2/11/07) in right eye

Hi Lynn
Enjoyed your presentation on Saturday. Thanks for taking the time out to come and talk to us.
That goes for all the other speakers as well, both myself and my sister (who is currently a nurse on an eye unit ward in the north west) found it all very interesting.
best wishes

don't let the people that mean nothing to you get you down, because in the end they are worth nothing to you, they are just your obstacles in life to trip you up!
