pending eye test

Hi Ive had keratoconus since I was 20 ( now 39) and have coped well witht the gas permeable lens and have not had to change them much as the condition develops, anyway I went to India 5 years ago and had a checkup and had some new lens made (£15 each eye) these lasted well and they gave me the prescription numbers for future replacement, however I lost the details for my left eye. Now 2 days ago the lens broke and ive had to place an 'older' version in, which is acceptable but not as clear and causes discomfort after prolonged time. Im going to opticians on Monday purely to get a eye test for my left eye as I know 100% the right eye lens is perfect in vision, Im presuming they want me to get the new lens from them which is fine but will they give me the prescription details as well? as I know their price seems to be about £20 more than from an online store but due to the urgentness of the matter Im prepared to get 1 or 2 lens from them then buy future replacements online.
I had a checkup in the hospital only 2 weeks ago and was a total waste of time as the doctor confirmed everything was fine and would refer me to optician for spare lens. Im not holding my breath...... and feel i got better help when I was in India.
Sorry to dribble on but anyone know after eye test how quickly I can expect lens to come through? some online companies offer a 4 day turnaround which would please me no end.
many thx
