15 weeks on...

Postby Sarah M » Tue 13 Mar 2007 11:27 am

Had appointment today.

Saw the optician - cant remember what she said my vision was - i could see 3 lines, got 4 once with them attractive glasses they change the lenses on. Apparently i'm short sighted too??

Got asked if i have been using dilating drops :? Wasnt to impressed - but its something to do with my anterior chamber being deeper in the grafted eye??

Nothing else to report - everything looking good. Drops been taken down to 3 times a day and changed from maxitrol to maxidex.

Got to go back in 2 months. So i'm happy :D

About time the graft settled down and behaved itself after what you went through initially :D

Take it easy until the next visit.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I am 12 weeks and wanted to post my news without starting another thread.

I went for my check up on Tuesday and could get three lines too. Could almost make some out on the 4th, but because of the astigmatism, once the letters get smaller it gets harder (e.g mistaking a C for a G)

Got cut down to 3 drops a day too and don't have to go back for 3 months now.

Was told I needn't wear the eye-shield at night but I am so scared of when I lay graft-side down in my sleep!

Great news Craig. :D

There is so much good news going around at the moment and long may it continue. :D

*Whistles* How are your eyes Sarah?
