Poster at Manchesher Royal Eye Hospital

Postby Steven Williams » Thu 15 Feb 2007 9:07 pm

Inspired by this thread:-

http://www.keratoconus-group.org.uk/for ... c&start=20

At my consultation this afternoon at the optometry clinic with Dr Cindy Tromans I handed her one copy of flyer 1 and 2 on here to display at the clinic as there is nothing there.

She advised that she thought that they had one displayed in the past but said if there were none up they would be displayed.

Anyone else here attend this clinic? My next appointment is in 3 weeks so I'll look out for it and let you know if "the eagle has landed"!

Regarding flyer 2 could this be modified so that the website address is all on one line?

Steven,

Anne Klepatz has updated the poster for Moorfileds, give her a call and she can post one out to you.

Hopefully John will read this and update the page where we currently have fliers for download and put the new one on for others to print for their local hospital too.

OK, good idea. Will do. Just keep nagging me if I forget.

I'm STILL at work right now, so can't do it tonight

Steven - I can e-mail you our new poster (and that goes for anyone else who'd like to put one up in the clinic they go to). Just e-mail me or PM me with your e-mail address.

Anne,

Sorry Anne I cant pm you, and if you pm me I cant open your pm!:-

Sorry, but the administrator has prevented you from sending private messages.

as the PTB here have labelled me guilty of bringing this forum into disrepute. Time will show that, that decision was totally unjustified.

I can't e mail you at present either as I'm upgrading my PC!

Can you or JS not put the new poster on the site, like flyers 1 and 2?

Sorry Steven - only JS can put the poster on the site. I'm sure he will do when he's recovered from working 24/7 recently!

No posters on display at my consulation this afternoon.

So I asked Dr Cindy Troumans what had happened, she looked in my file and they were still there.

She appeared a bit  and I suggested that if they were displayed it would help KC
patients.

If they're not on display at my next consultation then its a :( state of affairs imo. Hopefully a poster will be and I will let you know.

Are there any other regd members here who go to MREH? It would be useful if on regd members profiles it was disclosed where they
receive their medical KC care and treatment.

Steven,

I know someone who goes to the same hospital.

I will e-mail her the poster and she can badger the consultants to display it too.

Thanks very much for trying.

I've just printed and laminated one to take with me on thursday.

It looks great. :D

Congratulations to the designer.

Well done & good luck CK.

Have a look round to see if they have put up the two I gave up them. They'll be wondering whats going on, especially if yours is laminated!

Who do you see at MREH and how do you find the service there?
