Jerking movements post graft

Not as smutty as the title suggests! Yesterday I bought myself a Nintendo Wii. For those that don't know what this is, you use the controller to make movements on screen by making real-life movements, instead of just using a directional controller.

As I am only 4 weeks post-graft, do I have to be careful what I do with the right-hand side of my body (right eye was grafted)? Or is it more that you have to be careful lifting heavy things (ideally to avoid that).

At the minute I am just using my left hand for the frantic games!

Craig,

I am sue we all believe you

I was only told lifting heavy weights and by 6 weeks I had the all clear to star back at my weekend job on a farm. That was nearly 20 years ago and never sufferd any ill effects as a result.

My only word of caution is don't get carried away and fall bashing your head or whack yourself in the head!

I reckon you are probably safe to use your Nintendo. I'd avoid strking myself with it, although this is probably good advice even for people not recovering from a cornea graft.

Lifting heavy things is a different matter: you'd be well advised not to do any of that for a bit.

I will second this replies and just say to take things slowly and stop playing the game if you get pain or any problems.

I am sure you will be fine! Have fun!!

Craig, I am not sure if you can play against other people but if you can and if this means sharing the same floor space then it may be advisable to avoid "doubles".

You can play against other people, but haven't done it yet to avoid bumping!
