Hi Donna, and welcome to the forum.
Yes, any sort of glare can be a problem with our condition. So a good anti-glare filter could well help; but so could a modern flat screen (LCD monitor) even more!
The problem with anti-glare filters is that they introduce another layer between the glowing phosphor and your eye, so it can be slightly more tricky to focus. Even so, the reduction of glare can make it worthwhile.

Its for the pc at home, at work we have flat screens and they are fine.
Does anyone know if you can claim any financial help towards things that are needed to make life easier? I work part time and intend to continue to work so am not sure if I caould get any help? If not then it looks like I will be doing overtime!

Hi Donna,
To make things easier at work, yes you can get things through the government scheme Access to Work.
As far as things for home I am unawre of any help unless you work from home in which case Access To Work may be able to help.
For advice on Access To Work visit Job Centre Plus or visit your local job centre.
To get help at home I think you would have to qualify for a Disability Living Allownace for which I think your KC has to be extremely bad to qualify for.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Gareth
