Hi all,

Had a bit of a restless night with my darling son, so i was up and thinking alot.
My question is are there any eye exercices you can do with your grafted eye to help it focus more?
Just a thought :D

Anne,

Do you remember in the early '90's the 'Magic Eye' Pictures?

Theses were pictures that at first glance look like a mass of colour like most things do to us with KC. However instead of focusing on the picture you focus beyond it you were supposed to see a 3D image.

My brother was well into these when I had my grafts done and I think as a joke he got me a book of them one christmas. Not to be beaten I made it my goal that I would be able to see the 3D images and my brother was particularly cruel, he got me a book which did not say what I was supposed to see!

I succedded in acheiving my goal and being able to see all the images and to be honest I think this helped my vision get to the point my grafts for many years did not need any form of correction.

To me this is exercising the whole eye as you conceously focus on something, I think it expercises the brain too as it works out what it is it is looking at!

Not sure how it would work if you other eye is not upto scratch though, but I know you like a challenge.
