Just poked myself in my eye, the grafted one!!!
Hurting a little bit and really watering.
Any advice should i worry or not?
Can't beleive i just did that

Where did you poke youself?...centre or sides?..I know this may be hard to deetermine
Aside from watering, anything else happened? any changes above slight reddening?
when you blink can you feel anything above and beyond the sutures? ie any broken ones?
If in doubt, get a light, go to the bathroom, look down,lift the top lid shine the light and get your hubby or someone to have a look at the eye.....if in doubt dont hesitate to get yourself down to the A&E
If the watering hasnt stopped after a maximum of 10 mins, id be slightly more concerned....

We all thought you end up with a poke in the eye but never self inflicted. My money was your hubby doing it while stopping one of the kids accidently poking you in the eye.
It may well have felt harder than it was because it will still be sensitive.
If it is still hurting like hell and watering in an hour or so after the incident, then I would call the hospital for advice.
Dare I ask how such an incident occured?

ps On the basis that good advice is easier to give than it is to take, let me offer a slight confession. I was having trouble sleeping a couple of nights after my graft and took off the eye shield. Later I managed to get to sleep, but had not remembered to put the eyeshield back on. I woke suddelny to find myself rubbing my graft eye. OOPS! fortunately, no harm was done.
