I am having my Graft today, and i can say i have never felt so scared before.
The op is not untill 5.30 and i have to be at Moorfields for 3.30 i don't know what to do with myself.
Just said goodbye to the kids and feel really sick now.
Hopefully i will be posting soon to say how easy the op was :D

Anne, you are certainly not a wimp and it is only natural to be apprehensive.

I knew today was an important day but I couldn't remember why. How could I forget.

We will all be thinking of you this afternoon and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Very best wishes.

Take a couple of days out, and we hope to see you here again soon, telling us how easy it all was!

All the best,

All the very best today. You are very much in our thoughts as you go through the long wait today, and your surgery this evening.

We all look forward to hearing how things have gone.

Anne, you are in our thoughts and prayers. As I was lying on the gurnee waiting to go in I was actually scared.....been into lots bigger surgeries before with little apprehension. Perhaps because I was younger then.....don't know. I had my graft early in the morning. Your doctor probably has to go get in a quick 9-holes at the club, have a couple of Guinness to relax, and then pop over to the hospital to do your graft. I'm sure you'll be fine :D

Next week you will be wondering what all the worry was about, and just remember, in a few months when you kiss the children you'll be able to see them!!

Cheers, Piper
