The lighter side of KC

Yes, there is a lighter side. I recently took a long road trip, wife driving. At one point while riding along in Mississippi I looked up and thought I might possibly be seeing a large UFO hovering above a small woodlot.....it seemed to be staying in place and had the classic cigar-shape. My wife burst my Sci-Fi bubble and told me it was just a gas (petrol) station advertising sign......a large one, to be sure.....but not a UFO. damn.

Piper, I suspect you have hit the nail on the head regarding UFO sightings; KC'ers in denial making the reports!

I was at one end of a pathway a few weeks ago and I saw a figure standing alone at the other end about 75 yards away and he looked tall and thin with an oval shaped head. He really did look like an alien until I got closer.

Last week I thought I saw a parking metre in a place where one would never be and I was no more than 25 yards away. It turned out to be somebody waiting to cross the road!

Boy KC does play some funny tricks on us.
