Wow.....what a day. i must have either a problem with my brain or eye strain. One eye sees big and one sees small.....one badly (KC) and one very badly (graft)....the resulting headache has got me humbled. Has anyone else had post graft headaches? Thanks, Piper

Hi Piper, You're not alone!
I too had many post-graft headaches. More so with my first graft than my second.
I think it's "just" the brain re-wiring itself to cope with the different signals it's now getting.
Make sure you have loads of rest, and things will soon calm down, I'm sure.

John, you are a lifesaver, a voice in the wilderness. I was beginning to worry about the plumbing in my brain....... I think I'll have a pint and sit in the dark and listen to the talking book, "Lusitania". I qualifed for Talking Books last year and get them through the mail every month from the State of Louisiana. Very helpful for those of us who can't read anymore and can't see TV very well.
I got off Tylenol as I think it was affecting my blood pressure and have been taking just plain old Aspirin. Still have the headache. Tried some of the new OTC med "Head On" for migraines.....rub it on the forhead and it stops the pain. WEll, most of the pain. Actually, works pretty well. A good thing to have over the sink anyway.
Cheers, Piper

Lots of headaches, I have recently had my left eye done and as a pair the eyes really dont work well together yet.I cant really wear a lens anymore on the right so vision ys poor. In some ways I wish they did both eyes together.

I have suffered with headaches really badly lately since the vision in my grafted eye has got better. I just don't think that i am used to having vision in both eyes and my brain is trying to accomodate.
