Pre/theatre assessment

I'm off to hospital on Tuesday for my pre-theatre assessment.
Because of my great age I have to go for an ECG first. Then I spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the pleasant ambiance of the NHS waiting room at Gartnavel eye ward.
I have screeds of questions to ask. I shall post any interesting answers!

Good luck Andrew.
I'm going to be spending time in a NHS waiting room myself tomorrow. Lovely places aren't they?

Well, on the grounds that someone once said that you can tell what people enjoy because it is what they spend most of their time doing ... I think I must have an undiagnosed affection for the waiting room!

Best wishes Andrew, I think they do an ECG for other common surgeries as well, just take some music to listern to, i've seen mobile phone used in wards with out to much trouble, it depends on the staff and what ward your in I guess and if you use it quitely.
All the best

Hope all went well.
Wish I had been in a waiting room the past 4 days! This is my first day back from work in that time, never has 35 miles seem so far
