RGP toric lens breaking in half

I've been having an eye fitted for a toric RGP lens.
It's needed several reviews for increasing the power.
Cleaning it in the usual way has resulted in it breaking twice within 4 weeks.
This kind of lens is thinner than the RGP for the other eye, its a bit bigger and much flatter.
It's clear than conventional finger cleaning won't be possible, so if we can get the prescription right it looks like I'd need to use the Oxysept 1 type of cleaning (hydrogen peroxide lens cage overnight).
Does anyone else have experience of thin flat RGP toric lenses and Oxysept cleaning system?

Thanks Space Cadet!
That graft has 'thickened' a bit, so will be reviewed.
However, I am wondering if this might be the cause, I found a paper on temporary thickening and covid booster vaccination, as I had one;

I'll run it past ophthalmology when I see them in case it's relevant
