Hehe this is a kinda chatty post but it is about goggles as well so posted it here! Am so excited now as going away Sunday night with my twin sister to Austria for a whole weeks water adventure! We are going on a planned week with white water rafting, canoeing, kayaking, canyoning and paragliding to celebrate our 30th!!! SO excited! Have everything packed and ready to go!

Am so glad that my surgeon has said yes to swimming although i'm sure he knew i wasn't going to not go! Kinda like my birthday last year when i only just got a vision standard the day before of 6/9 and then drove all the way to Scotland for a music festival!! But i WAS going and i had faith that my eyesight wouldn't let me down and i would be legal to drive!

I have bought a good pair of goggles 8) especially for watersports so they are bigger and cover the whole eye area as i don't want to get attacked by an oar! I don't have the link at the minute but i just goggled and found loads. This one is made by Rift and has UV filters and all round vision and the suction on them is brilliant! I am going to wear my lenses and be able to actually see for once when swimming!! I guess i will see if i can get away with wearing them for paragliding as well just in case i lose a lens!

Ok i will post when i get back! Here i end being 29 and when i come back and post i'll be 30!! :P

Take care, love Claire X x X

Sounds fantastic but a bit too energetic for me  .

Have a brilliant time.

It doesn't sound like you need to visit Brindlkirche now ( remember, the pump which is supposed to supply miracle waters to cure people with impaired vision). If you are near though perhaps you could check to see if it is working yet because it wasn't when I was there :) .

Sweet,

Can you post a link with where you got them from, who makes them and where you can get them from.

Enjoy your holiday and make sure you eat properly, drink lots of water in addition to a the alchohol and be careful of that dodgy back!

I'm off home now and back in work Sunday!

Sweet,
I could do with a pair of goggles like that, so a link would be very handy.
Have a great time on holiday and do not drink too much river water.

Hoping that this link works, i bought them from the Swimshop online and they arrived in less than a week! If the link doesn't work for you google for Rift goggles and you will find many links. I like this pair as they only cover the eyes and not the nose but there are many others! I think that these are well worth the money. Tried them with lenses in the shower and was well impressed so can't wait to try them swimming now!!

See you all here soon! Sweet X x X

Swimshop online

Hopefully John can come along and make this link shorter to keep everything in line!!
