Hello I'm back!

Sorry I have not contributed for about 5 years! I really feel I have taken but given much to this forum and I am so sorry about that!

Since my graft in 2007 and the use of 'piggy-backing' my lenses my vision problems have significantly improved to the point that I managed to keep my job and took on a PhD in 2010. That is the main reason why I have not been on the forum, I have been so busy. I am writing up my thesis now and hoping to contribute a lot more in the near future.

Thanks to all those who helped me on this forum during difficult times!

Great to see you back, Matt. And even better to read why you haven't been here for a few years, and that things have been going so well for you. No need to beat yourself up either - I seem to remember that you were pretty good at responding to other people's problems even when you were having problems of your own! And your 'I'm back' post will be very reassuring to everyone who's going through a bad patch and can't quite see any light at the end of the tunnel.
I hope you've continued to receive our newsletters and DVDs in the intervening years. You're still on our postal mailing list, but I don't know if you might have moved since we last heard from you.
