Dear All,

I had epi-off cxl in my left eye in December,2013 and I think that it has stopped progressing further. But I am still worried whether in future it will start progressing again or not ? Can someone tell me that does is start progressing again after some period of time ?

The main usage for CXL is to stop progression, so no, it shouldn't progress. However in some cases it only slows progression down, and rarely it cannot work at all. You say you 'think' progression has stopped... do you have scans to prove this? They should be able to tell how well it's worked after a 12 month period, so if you're unsure, get yourself back to the hospital where you were treated!

Also, just for reference, epi-off is less likely to need to be repeated compared to epi-on.

Do you have any evidence for that?

I don't, but Google does. Everything I quote here has been from articles I've read online. I had a quick search for you but I've read so many of the damn things I can't pin point where it was. Something to do with the fact epi-on doesn't penetrate as far into your eye so it's only surface level meaning it can effectively wear off.
