From a welfare reform group:

Branwyn has put this in comments on a thread. I do not know where she lives but I expect there are people in a similar position all over. What kind of help do any of you know of in your areas? Do any of the food banks deliver?
I used to be able to eat everyday of the week now, since the bedroom tax I cannot. there are weeks like this week I cannot buy food. I cannot get to a food bank because I am blind so have learned to go without. I ask for help but there is no help out there. you just learn to go without food. I am sure I am not the only one in this position and this is why spending has gone down. people cannot afford to eat

Very sorry to hear this Lou, clearly nobody should be put into that situation. Have you had your disability payments rejected? Or is it that the bedroom tax is taking too much out of your income?

Are there any family members who can help with food? I know it's not right and you shouldn't have to rely on family, but it's very distressing to think that you're not able to eat properly.

Edit: Having read your comment again, I realise it's Branwyn who is in this situation, rather than yourself.

yes not me, but I'm aware that visually impaired people are being very hard hit by 'reforms'
