Has anyone ever done this? Moorfields told me it will become the standard. Epi-off in this case. I've seen Youtubes of people getting both done at the very same time, but of course, with KC, everything seems to vary very slightly in every case and so some get it done months apart etc.
Cheers

Hi Prism,
I'd be surprised if 7 days apart became the 'standard'. I had my two cross-linking ops done 3 months apart, which I think is sensible as for me it took about 3 months for my vision to return fully back to 'normal'.

Thanks for the reply James. Hm yeah this post op blurriness is a concern, and (as I think you also mentioned elsewhere) I had no idea it would be quite like this after the op. Not that its unexpected given the nature of the procedure, just there seems to be very little dialogue about just what's going on!
Then to have both eyes like this from the off is going to be tricky. How quickly could you return to what you were using as visual aids after crosslinking? Also, how long before returning to computer screens, work etc? Thanks!

That's certainly true! Different consultants seem to give different advice, which isn't particularly helpful!
I think everybody responds to cross-linking differently, so there will be some people who are 'back to normal' after a couple of weeks, but for some it can take longer. As I say, for me it took about 3 months in each eye for my vision to return to the level it was at before the cross-linking.

Well I was wearing glasses when I had the cross-linking done so I was able to wear those straight away (although obviously the cross-linked eye was 'blurred').
I had problems using a computer screen even before I had the cross-linking done, so these problems remained afterwards as well. But the blurriness from the cross-linking was worse for the first couple of weeks, then it gradually calmed down over the next 3 months until vision returned to 'normal'.
