Kerrie
That's great news - I am so pleased for you - hope it continues well for you. Keep us informed of your daily progress please?

You were so down a few days ago and I really felt for you as I know very recently what it feels like to see no light at the end of the tunnel - but there is usually a glimmer somewhere! Take heart that I've driven on the M25 in the rush hour, in the rain, today for the first time in about a year and I felt safe to do so! (I did have hubby sitting next to me today - next time I'll do it alone!) That's what piggy backing has done for me, and I got there by the support from all these people around us!

Sorry - I've got a silly grin :D :P on my face today because of this - let's hope it's your turn in a day or two!

Lots of us have trouble with the sky (even with sunglasses on). But seven hours is a good day's eyesight! Well done.

Yesterday i had three attempts at putting the lenses in, but they kept irritating my eyes and stinging. on the fourth attempt (and fourth rinsing with saline) they went in fine and i wore them for ten hours with no problems.
Next test will be reading a no plate. fingers crossed

Kerrie,

Great news! I have worn lenses for 16 years but I still get days when they just won't go in right or are hurting. Then I leave them alone, walk away and come back to it later. If I am due in work I just take them with me! A little rinse with saline when I get to work and it is all fine again!

Keep up with it as you are doing brilliantly!! Good luck! :D

had them in all day again today, so great, still the odd problem with bright lights but nothing to worry about. also been back for hayfever medication and that is also helping.

Good news Kerrie, bright light is easy to fix with sunglasses compared to what you have already been through.
