Hi again sweet
It seems quite random having a virtual chat on a forum but excusing any french is ***** fantastic that finally i can talk to people who have been through a lot with the dreaded KC.
I think Barry is excellent and he does know what he is talking about. I have some very strange prescription that he has personally told me can be difficult for them to make up, but its more to do with something like -11 dioptres in one plane and +12 in the other. (I have no idea what it means)
I have been reassured though and will definately visit these more often. ill let yall know how the visit to clinic on 12th december goes
It's official, my KC has stabilised!

Hehe it is fine! I have learnt loads and got a lot of support from here and i hope you do as well
Barry is very good, he is still seeing my twin sister and he always asks her how i am doing! There is another member here who sees him but am not sure if anyone else does. I had left and was in Moorfields before i found this site, so maybe he needs a poster at the hospital to let other people know?
Hoping that everything continues to go well with you.

gareth, can you educate an old man a bit? Here in the states we measure vision as 20-20....excellent and 20-40....nearly so, etc. Meaning a perosn with PERFECT VISION would see something at 40 feet and if you stood at 20 feet, you could see it. Mine has been running about 20-900.......a person with perfect vision could read a road sign at 900 feet and I'd make it out at 20 feet.
Now, you all in the UK refer to 6/6 vision? what does that mean? what is the scale and range of vision?
thanks, Piper
