Good point Gareth. Arron is always knocking my glasses off and i am always breaking up fights (i have 2 lovely girls  ).
Also another question i'm not sure about is the lifting. I don't have to lift Arron much but he does have the odd tantrum where i may need to remove him from the situation! And my girls go to school at the top of a very steep hill and i was wondering about pushing the buggy.
if i can't do these things hubby may need longer off work !!
How long before you can lift and exercise, bearing in mind i have to walk everywhere and push a buggy?

Anne,

Pushing a buggy should be fine, I think you may be advised against running with the buggy for a while.

When I had my grafts done 16 years ago, I was advised to stop lifting for no more than a month, then I started my weekend job on the local farm again.

Doctors seem to be a bit more cateuos now, but as long as you are not straining and just breaking up fights or tantrums every now and then, my personal view is you should be fine.

You could always starve the kids between now and the op so they will not be so heavy to lift

Add it to the list of questions to ask before the op just to make sure.

Careful Michael, she might force you down the graft rout that you have put off for so long!
