Thanks Lynn. - As you say the eye rubbing cause is a bit of a 'chicken or the egg' debate.

I certainly remember rubbing my eyes a lot when I was a youngster, especially during the hay-fever season, but have vivid memories watching my Dad rub his eyes (also a hay fever sufferer) but at 58 he does not have symptoms of KC.

Since learning about KC I try not to rub my eyes at all (easier said then done during the peak hay fever months), but still the KC has progressed a little.

My personal take is that KC is hereditary and remained undetected in past relations due to poor diagnosis or simply not having the tools to detect such a problem. Purely speculation, but I have not seen any evidence to prove the contrary.

Will keep you all posted regarding the Kerasoft 2 lenses, should it help anyone else who is also considering ro trying to get the lenses to work for them.
