Hi Tommy, I took cyclosporin tablets for about a year before my DALK op, to clear up the allergic eye condition i had i also took prednisolone in tablet form at the same time.
For me i had no unwanted side effects and felt the best i had in years!! (no eczema etc) I had all my regular check ups and blood test and everything seems to be fine.(so far so good)The main thing for me was to be able to have a graft, which i have had and my sight is getting better all the time.
Hope your rejection sorts itself out soon.
Have you tried the cyclosporin drops yet? there are 2 forms human and dog  !!!
I tried both, found the tablets much better.

All the best
Anne

hey anne, a year!! thats along time to be on this drug I'm only gonna stay on it for around another month or so, that'll of been why you were on the prednisolone tablets to keep you healthy while your immune system had been suppressed, i've got a bad chesty cough that i've not been able to shift for a couple of weeks now, an a few spots on my face :( , maybe i should ask for predisalone tablets aswell lol get my body in good condition. Interestingly they're stoping giving ciclosplorin to dogs in india because it's killing off all the vultures  useless bit of information for you there . On an important note rejection is clearing up good and i should'nt be left with any perminant scaring... yey! hope your doin good tom
