That's how I felt when I was 36.

If I could remember who he was I'd give you the name and address of the optician I was seeing at the time so that you could write and tell him off for me!

I remember the shop but it has changed into one of those chains.

How VERY dare you.... saying I'm 39 !!!

I am actually 38 until next Monday :wink:

I saw my Consultant on Tuesday, he's advised me to persevere with my new lenses for a while. He thinks the problem may be my last lenses were quite weak, and I needed to hold the book etc closer, he also said that I may soon need reading glasses due to my rapidly increasing age. :cry:

He told me to ring him in a month and let him know how I'm getting on.
