Have a look on eBay (and register using the link that donates money to us!) - there are usually lots of good pinhole specs available there.

We did that, but my son discovered that he liked to sit in the chair located for me to watch the television.

In addition to these easy domestic arrangements, it is possible to have all sorts of aids provided by the RNIB or your local authority's sensory impairement team.
