Beware of anyone who tells you that they can stop the progression of keratoconus.
If you decide to go ahead I am sure we will all support you, but do so on the basis of a realistic appraisal of the potential outcomes.

To me there is not enough evidence for C3R to say it will stop KC.
They are still debating epithelium removed or not!
If you go for a graft you will be told KC will be stopped, but this is wrong, it still can. Chances are extremely remote but the posibility is still there.
My KC came back, not in the graft, but in the cornea the graft is attached too.

How old were you at the time
Just out of interest, how old were you when your keratoconus revived itself? As far as I understood, KC is most active in your teens and as you approach your 40s it stops. As i am now in my early 30s i thought that the worst would now be over.
I would love to see if they have found a cure in 10 years time - there seems to be a lot of interesting developments at the moment - only time will show the best results.

I was 35 when the KC came back, but it has now been stable for nearly three years.
There are others older than me who's KC is progressing nearly as fast as it did in me when I was diagnosed at 17. Then within 6 months of diagnoses I had exhausted all lens options and posponed grafts until after my A levels.
KC is a degenerative condition that can stop as quick as it can start.
KC round two, my vision deteriorated rapidly over three months after 16 years post graft relative stability.
