Sweet

I spoke to the biometrist and she wants the lens out for a week but the consultant said 48 hours would be ok, I am guessing because he knows I won't be able to see much without the lens.

Anyway, I took the lens out Sunday morning to be extra safe but this has meant I have missed Arsenal against Man Utd and will miss two other matches, one on the day of the procedure .

Never mind the main thing is I should be ok for the LONDON SOCIAL on 4th FEB 2007!!!!! Plug, plug :)

Hello samanthals

Welcome to the forum.

I am not sure whether you are looking for a hospital in the United Kingdom, and if so, whether you are looking for an NHS hospital or a private clinic. There are some NHS hospitals offering this procedure and your brother may be able to ask for a referral to one of these by his own Ophthalmologist.

Of course it may be that he will not be found suitable for this procedure, but he can always ask.

All the best

Andrew

The recent NICE guidance makes INTACs a treatment option within the NHS and is generally positive about it. It might be useful to print it off and take it along to the Consultant. I think it has been posted by Eddie? Otherwise it is on the NICE web-site or I could PM it.
