Yes Gareth that's the usual format for good mental health conferences, having experts by experience alongside experts by profession.
In this case though, most would not think of having experts from ophthalmology as well as from sensory impairment teams and mental health. They would not be typically considered as being a 'stakeholder' but of course we know different!
I'll be using Lynn's example..

Update: they are interested, I need to write and submit a formal proposal. They would be looking for some sponsorship, £3-5000. Any suggestions apart from the RNIB/RNID - let me know folks.

Those of you who have expressed an interest in speaking - please would you PM me with a working title and a sentence or two about what you would talk about. Also your prof titles or how you would want to be described.

Anne, how about you and another member doing a workshop on support and the KC Group? Drop me a PM.

I'll use the above in writing the proposal, then let you know if I'm successful
