Even if the photographs are the intellectual property either of an infividual or a website, the paper may still be able to obtail permission to use some of the images.

I'd give them the URL and let them sort out the copyright issues with the proprietor. If nothing else it will give the journalst a greater insight into your condition.

Thought of that, but maybe not enough time to sort out, article is being written tomorrow. Just had the interview, she already knew of this group fro Googling earlier, but I asked her to print the address and explained how it had helped me!
Photographer just being round as well. My 15 mins of fame starts now!

Article was printed today, full page and a close-up of my eyes!

Got this group's URL mentioned and how it had helped me.

Will see if it is on their website later or try and sort out a scan.

Craig,

Weldone on get us a mention.

For copyright reasons, if the paper has the article on there web site it might be more apporpriate to post a link.

Then e-mail the editor asking permission if the group can reproduce the article on this site and may be future news letters.

Looking forward to reading it.

Thanks.

Gareth

It's on their webpage now, but I'm not sure how to use this composing box to post a URL. Do I have to click the URL button at the top before I paste the link, then click it again after?

Here goes:-

Lincolnshire Echo; It will be fantastic when I can see properly again

and the second article:-

Lincolnshire Echo; It could take 12 months to restore vision

These were both on one page in the paper. Am awaiting a reply about the copyright, but they said it shouldn't be a problem as long as you quote where and when the article was published.

Well done Craig and thanks.

Presumably the journalist did some research and produced the second article himself?

Yes, when she rang me to do the interview she said she had been doing some Googling! Was pleased as it saved me having to explain everything from scratch. I'd also sent a link to a website with KC images with my original email.
