How about some cool sunglasses, or howabout mirrored ones making a comeback for KC'ers

Thanks for the replies. :D

Piper, I would ask the barmaid for an escort but after we failed to hit things off this time I think I’ve got more chance of having a cold beer poured over my head.

Gareth, Many thanks for that link, I shall get myself a bracelet and a card I can pull from my wallet. That sounds ideal thank you. :D

Andrew, dying my hair grey, putting on some weight and drinking in Scotland sounds a bit extreme for a quick pint but if the situation gets any worse I’m keeping your plan as back up.

Alison, Baseball caps don’t really suit me either, but I’m yet to find a hat I not only like but fits and most importantly helps with the glare. In fact I had a rather large collection of 'failed' hats that I recently donated to a charity shop. :|

James, I’ve worn sunglasses before but don’t like the attention they draw. Usually I can get away with wearing a baseball cap without comment. Sun glasses in pubs and on days with little sun though is a different matter. Saying that on really bad eye days, I can spend the day walking around the house in sunglasses and a cap.

Still, I must say I look forward to meeting some of you at a met. It'll be good to actually met others with a similar dress code  That is if we're not all barred.
