I got told off for mentioning specialists by name a while ago as did others, n I seem to think it is against the forum guidline to which is a shame as so many "professionals" who are not good with KCers n we deserve to know who the good ones are, hope you find someone x
May09 Diagnosed with KC, March 2010 after a failed transplant it has left me legally blind a long cane user (since 2010) who is blind in a once sighted world

Moorfields Eye Hospital in London now has a NHS crosslinking clinic but before they got NHS funding , several of the corneal specialists offered CXL privately and I imagine they still do. You'd be able to find out by contacting Moorfields Private. You could also contact the Luton and Dunstable Hospital to see if it's available privately there.

When I was moderator many years ago, we allowed someone to post their experience where they were less than satisfied with the treatment they received which resulted in many exchanges of emails where the group had to do their best to persuade the hospital and consultant from taking legal action against the group because the law at that time meant the group was liable for the content forum members posted. I believe if the legal action had been succesful the group would have been bankrupt and it would have been down to the trutees to foot the rest of the bill. Therefore it was decided that for the sake of those wanting support it was more important to remove the post and update the forum rules rather than risk the potential of the group ceasing to exist.
I haven't followed the changes in legislation for sometime which I believe were updated with the increased use of social media forums so unable to say if such a potential threat to the group would still exist.
