hi, can anyone advise? I would like to find out if CXL can help me, and I would like to use private insurance if possible.
The policy document says they will not insure 'any other treatment of astigmatism or other refractive errors."
Does that mean CXL is excluded?
(I have read posts on insurance but couldn't find the answer)
thank you!

Hi Tonys
Welcome to the forum.
Some people have managed to get CXL paid for by their medical insurance - others haven't.
It may be worth looking at this thread:

Re: Am I covered by insurance?
Getting private health insurance to pay for CXL should be much easier now that NICE (the body that approves new treatments on the NHS) has revised its guidelines www.nice.org.uk/IPG466
It means private insurers should no longer be able to refuse to pay on the grounds that CXL is still 'experimental'.
