Hi
I have had keratoconus since 1982.
I have used the SoftPerm lenses from Ciba for the last 15 years, and have been very happy with the lenses. When Ciba stopped producing these, I had to look for an alternative. So I got in touch with an optometrist, who suggested trying the lenses Duette from Synergeyes.
I've been using these for 3 weeks now, and must say that I am very satisfied. The lenses have very good comfort, and I have 20/20 vision. I have the lenses on for 12 to 15 hours a day, without any problems at all.

My optician has just ordered me a hybrid lens. What are they like? Ive never worn a contact lens, i did try rgp's but the nhs kept getting the fit wrong and it was moving all over my eye and so painful. So I went to a fitter in derby, and hes ordered me a hybrid lens, but ive no idea what it will be like.
He said i could happily play football in it though
