It was good to see members old and new at our conference last Saturday - I hope those that came enjoyed the day as much as I did! The only disappointment was that we only had half the numbers we've had at previous conferences. As you can imagine, organising an event like this takes quite a bit of time and effort. So it would be good to have some feedback from all the people who DIDN'T come as to whether we should continue to organise conferences in the future. I realise that for many of you, London was just too far to come (although we had people from Northern Ireland, Manchester, Dorset and even a representative of the French KC Association who crossed the Channel to be there). But at least a third if not half of our membership lives within 'commuting distance' of London. So all those people who saw the information about the conference and the booking form in the newsletter earlier this year, and all those people who got an e-mail reminder via the forum a month or so ago, please tell us why you decided the conference wasn't for you.
We've always believed that one of the benefits of a support group like this one is the opportunity to meet other people with KC face to face (not just in the virtual reality of the forum!) Are we wrong?

Re: 2011 KC Group conference
Travel isn't generally a issue for me, but money is rather tight at the moment and simply didn't have enough money for the train and then all else connected with being in London for a few days, is a shame as was looking forward to seeing everyone.
