Punctal Plugs

I've got an appointment at Gartnavel tomorrow; I think they may want to talk about Punctal Plugs.

Any experience, anyone?

I have been told I nEed this as well as some other plugs due to the extreme dryness and recurrent infections. Sorry to hear you need this. X

Well, no punctual plugs for Andrew today. Instead they are booking me in for a bit if micoscropy to count the cells in my epithelium.

Hi Andrew,
Hope the epithelium cell count goes well. I have punctal plugs, started with plugs in each of the lower ducts, than had plugs in the upper ducts for a short period of time, but they made my eyes ran with water! :!: So had them removed now only have lower plugs, which have been effective in helping my dry eye, along with celluvisc. So far no problems with them. Sheila
