These are the 1 year results following surgery for keratoconus stage II in Budapest. The aim of this procedure is to reduce the curvature of the cornea and prevent the disease from progressing. This is accomplished by a number of small delicate incisions that strengthen the cornea as they heal. This surgery is unique to Budapest.
Uncorrected visual acuity results:
Pre-op: 0.6 OD 0.4 OS
1 Year Control: 0.8 OD 1.0 OS
