not really sure what has been going on with my eyes in the last few weeks, so lets see if typing out to you wonderful people enables me to think any clearer about it all.
Last week I was due at St James to see consultant, got there to be told "nopes Lea you should ahve been here weednesday at 3pm , not today (friday) at 3pm" I asked if I could see a duty constulant and got told there were no working as had all gone home, and if I wanted to wait it would be a long one, and the duty one apparently doesnt ahve much knowledge of KC and Id know more than him , which kinda sucks.
Right eye (transplant) is itchy to hell and very sore and watery, but has been since the op so nothing new with it, jsut a case of trying to manage it.
Got asked by my mum yesterday if I think it is worse than was but if truth be told I think my body has been learning to adapt to only distinguising some colors when it is open for a max of 3 seconds at a time.
Living in sunglases all the time, which is annoying.
Missed out on a picknic ion the park with uni mates at the weekend as the sun was too bright and intense, so spent the time on my bed with the curtains shut, sunglasses on and anotehr pair over the top and then just trying to do internet based things and geting annoyed, iritated n cranky.
Left eye is rapidly deterorating as well which is stressing me out,.
Going to ring the Jewish Blind services in abit , once I find the courage to.
Social Services are taking forever to get back to me whcih is annoying.
So yah. There is more but cant find the words.

Re: Update I guess
Hi Lea
I'm sorry this is proving such a long haul for you. Some people seem to sail through the experience of having a graft, while for others it's much more frustrating and slow to get there. At least there's not much sun predicted for the Bank Holiday weekend, so I hope you can find some enjoyable things to do!
All the best
