Hi all.

I am going in on wednesday to be fitted with a toric lens 17 months post PK graft.

Does anyone have any experience of these type of lenses so i know what to expect?

I imagine they will do this procedure under a local anesthetic. You will be looking upwards into the lens of the microscope, but your eye will be well numbed so that you will feel neither pain nor discomfort. The procedure is similar to but less invasive than a cataract operation.

A nurse will hold your hand :D and the whole procedure should last no more than ten minutes or so.

All the best
