C3R with Intac

Hi all,

I’m nearly 18 and was diagnosed three years ago. It is particularly severe in the left eye but the right is 6/4. My consultant has suggested collagen cross linking with an intac for the left eye and I was wondering if anyone has experience of having both these done for the same eye.

I’ve had a look at this picture (http://drspinello.com/kcvision/album/INTAC_Rings/index.html) of vision with an intac and am interested to know if there is such a visible ring or if having the good right eye would cancel it out (currently I don’t have a blurry side and a clear side) or if I would have half a ring on the left side of my vision?

I think that INTACS in conjunction with CXL is not uncommon these days, and am sure that somebody will be along in a moment to share their experience. Meantime, it is good to see you!
