hey, i got my synergeyes through the nhs at sutton hospitals contact lens clinic, which started off as a bit of a nightmare place to be seen but once they got to know me there the quality of support has improved. i was given 'COMPLETEtm Multi Purpose Solution' which i believe (from reading the synergeyes website) is one of the supported solution types. I was advised to put a drop of solution in each lens before insertion, and save for the sometimes tricky nature of balancing them putting them in is fine.
Removal, especially for my right eye which has quite advanced KC is pretty tricky unless ur fingers are bonedry but im working on it. It seems to be that after 5 to 6 hours i get a lot of tear fluid and my eyes r very moist, at which point the lens becomes very sore. I have also found that my reaction to bright lights has gotten worse since i started with these new lenses..The worst thing personally about these lenses is when you take them out!! Your vision is very blurry and your eye sore, thought i have read that this is common with this type of lens. Im trying to get an appointment atm so i can get back to my optom before my feb checkup and hopefully sort something out. If only they could give you a phone no. to a KC expert that you could bother when ever things werent going too well!

With RGP's I get what you describe and it was basically my eyes drying out, although your eye water, in many instances this can be symptom of dry eye. Part of the bluring with me was the lens would dry on to the eye slight;y off axis and it does not take much to throw our vision out.
This is why I am trying the K3 lens which is better.
The longer lasting solution is to does my eyes up with lubricating eye drops and put a couple drops of the eye drops into the lens when I put them in and this has improved things significantly. I also need to wash all traces of the lens storage solution of my lenses be it RGP or soft using a preservative free saline solution.
Might be worth discussing these too with your optom.
