Soft K Lenses HELP!!!
Hey, I keep finding really small edge tears on my soft lenses which then develop into a larger tears which then renders them completely unusable, and expensive to replace. Is anyone else experiencing this? I don't understand what I'm doing wrong that's causing it. It's happened in both my Left and Right lenses so am now without until the replacements arrive..... kind of thinking a backup pair of spectacles might be in order. But, its really making me nervous handling my own lenses in fear of them getting this tiny little niks on the edges. PLEASE HELP with some advice.

Go back to the optometrist who prescribed your lens. It may be that a different sort of lens, or a lens made of a different material, would be more suitable to your particular needs.
Alternatively, it may be that some more training on 'lens handling' would help you round your present problem.
Meantime, yes, a back-up pair of specs always proved a lifesaver for me!
