Well I got my new contact lens for my grafted eye (the eye also without a natural lens due to my injury last year). It is very big, about the size of my iris.
I have had it for two weeks now and wear it about 8-9 hours a day.
After the first week my eye was very sore. Not red/bloodshot at all, just "smarting" for want of a better word. So I left the lens out for 48 hours and it cleared up.
Now, after the second week, the soreness has come back.
Am I wearing my lens for too long (it has been nearly two years since I developed hydrops and stopped wearing a lens. Though I guess my new cornea means that doesn't matter anyway).
Any thoughts/advice welcome!

Re: Sore eye
You could very well be overdoing your lens time, but whether or not this is the case I'd strongly advise you to visit your contact lens clinic and tell them what you are experiencing.

Re: Sore eye
That's what I thought, my eye feels a lot better today, but I am going to give it another 48hrs to recover. Then I'll wear the lens for just 3hrs and take it out even if it feels comfy.
Perhaps I should start using moisturising drops even if I feel ok!
