A request from people I met at Moorfields KC meeting yesterd

Postby Jeremy_123 » Sun 28 Oct 2007 11:38 am

Hello everyone, this is my first post, hope it proves useful.

Speaking to a couple of people yesterday during and after the meeting, they expressed an interest in the sunglasses I had on at the time or at least when we were walking to the pub  .

http://www.the-outdoor.co.uk/ishop/853/shopscr483.html

is the site I got them from, unfortunately they are out of stock at the moment  , have had a look round other airsoft retailers (its a sport bit like paintball but much better) and found they are all mostly out of stock unfortunately, well at least the glasses I have are out of stock. There are other protective glasses similar to mine but I think the ESS ones I have are of the best design.

http://www.essgoggles.com/index.html

That's the web adress of the company that makes them.

I just spent too long writing this post out a few minutes ago and the forum timed me out so I'm not going to go on and on, all I will say is these are very good at combatting things like dust in city centres or wind in general. You get 3 sets of lenses with them so you can adjust them to whatever conditions you're in when you're wearing them and they look rather good as well.

Anyway I hope this proves to be of help.

Also I really enjoyed the KC group meeting at Moorfields yesterday, was very glad to be able to talk to people who had KC and hear how they had got on with the condition. I never quite realised how nice it is to speak to someone who has the same thing you do and knows exactly what you're speaking about, until now that is :D

Hopefully get to meet a few more people at the London social on the 18th Nov

Jeremy, Jez, Jezza, any of these will do.

Hi everyone,

this topic hasn't been used in a while but I have some good and bad news:

1) the protective glasses I showed to people are back in stock but with a different retailer, the retailer I got mine from originally hasn't had them for a long time now, don't know why :? .

2) Different retailer is selling them at £31.49 unfortunately but I've so far found them to be lifesavers on windy days or if there's a lot of dust about.

3) http://www.epsgoggles.com/products/view ... .php?cat=5 is where you'll find the full size ones

4) If your face is a bit smaller you can get these glasses in the same style just smaller from http://www.airsoftarmoury.co.uk/product ... ts_id=2655 £39.99 unfortunately

5) I'll probably have mine with me at the AGM in March so if you want to have a look at them just ask.

Hope this is of help

Jez.
