Just wanting to say .... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Postby Sweet » Wed 12 Dec 2007 5:47 pm

Hey there friends!!! Merry Christmas!! Hehehehe, I love this time of year, am such a kid!! LOL!! :P

Well this post is just to say that I am thinking of you all and hoping that you are all going to have a good holiday with being able to see well. Best wishes to all of us for next year! WOW 2008!! LOL!! Let's not think about it yet!!

My twin sister is having lens problems and I have told her again to come here and post as you are all lovely friends who won't bite her!! I think that she will drop by soon and post. My lenses aren't doing too badly though they are very dry, but I am using loads of Blink eyedrops with lenses in and lots of Systane when I'm lens free.

Also just wanted to pop in and officially say that yes John and I are a couple, hehe Michael I know we weren't very good at hiding it!!! Hehehe! We have been together a year now, isn't it scary how quickly the time goes!! Thanks everyone for their support and kind words.

Some here have mentioned the reality of two people with KC having kids with KC but we will have to wait and see. Right now I am dealing with loads of MS issues and have just broken my big toe! So I am in the wars again and needing some TLC. Hehehe

Take it easy everyone and try to remember that everything will work out right in the end :D

P.S. John where'd the Christmas lights go??!!! LOL!!! Awww I'm looking for nice emoticons with santa hats on!!! 8)

Actually my dear Sweet you concealed your togetherness pretty well.

I only sussed it out in June!

May I be the first to wish you and John a great Christmas and the same to everybody else on the forum, albeit, perhaps, a little bit early.
Please have a listen to my daughter, if you have a spare moment, on www.myspace.com/emmaparnes. She also wrote the songs.

Were you trying to keep this a secret? Sometime I'll do a presentation at a meeting on keeping secrets, but you'll have to travel to Scotland to hear my little pearls of wisdom :D

Anyhow, as you were trying not to let on, and have now "outed" yourselves, we can all wish you every blessing.

And a blessed Advent, joyful Christmas and healthy new year!

Not so much a secret as not advertising the fact. At least, not at first :)

Thanks for your best wishes!

Congratulations you two!!

Ouch!! A broken toe!! Well it took me much longer to break something (my ankle) and from what I remember of it, it was pretty boring because you really can't do anything but rest up. However, I actually reckon it was less painful (once set that is) than a broken toe, because at least it was in a cast... and you can't do that with toes, no?

Anyway, I'll stop babbling and wish you and everyone all the best for Christmas!!!

Oh you do have my sympathy Sweet! I broke my big toe at the end of August and boy did it HURT! Not wishing to worry you but I still get twinges now!

How did you do yours? Mine was a result of trying to be clever and missing the step whilst still having loads of dilating drops in my eyes following a consultation with someone we both know (and respect)!

Anyway, I wish you both (and everyone else of course!) a lovely Christmas - and hope that 2008 is a good year for you.
