And why do I have to keep pressing refresh to get the graphics to work on the new site layout - nice layout by the way!!

Paul, I think that the problem is that both the cassette and the Homer image are too large for the system limit on sig sizes. You'll need to remove *both* images, and then re-add a (smaller) Homer.
