Simple, healthy balanced diet.
Many will extol the virtues of vitamin C which is good. Although you can break food dwon to basic chemicals and put it in pill form, it is not quite the same. So rather than pump myself full of vitamins and so on I stick to whole fruit. It's not quite so acidic as having a fruit juice which has been extracted , concentrated, diluted and so on.
Despite the alergy test I have had saying I should steer clear of dairy products because of my exzema, I have found I can enjoy them with no ill effects, just stick to the more natural ones and these need not be from a health food shop or have organic plasterd all over them. None come from a healthfood shop and few say organic. Dairy products good for KC too because they are loaded in rhiboflavin which is used in the C3R treatment.
It may well be down to chance/coincidence, but when KC came back, it changed my whole and this was closely followed by a repetition of a major kidney problem. Changed my diet, kidneys been OK for 18 months, KC stable for 3 years.
Whenever my eyes irritate, I just up the amount of fruit I eat, and since then only one day off work because of inflamed sinuses and that was after my nose was quarterised and the stupid doctor forgot to use anaesthetic!

Thanks for the replies!
My eyes are better now, think i realised the problem in enough time to prevent damage being done. I am wearing my lenses today and have no pain or redness.
I will up the fruit intake if I think I am getting a cold, having KC forces you to take a look at your life style and eating habits so in a round about way it makes us try to be healthier....could think of better ways lol
I try to get a decent amount of sleep now and am def eating better and drinking more water. I really want my KC to stabilise. My right eye is steadily getting worse all the time.
Viscotears are in the bin. I am using Minims and saline drops and thats it!
