Hi Donna

Really good news for you about your lenses. Hope all continues to go well and don't be put off that building up wearing time does not happen over night. I know it is really frustrating however, better to do it gradually and sensibly rather than damage your eyes and end up having problem days anyway.

As for the putting in and out of the lenses, this will come with practise. I would just suggest you remain positively focussed and tell yourself once you can get the little darlings in and out well how much better you will be able to see and function in day to day tasks.

Hope all continues to go well

Take care

Susan
don't let the people that mean nothing to you get you down, because in the end they are worth nothing to you, they are just your obstacles in life to trip you up!

Update.....went for my 2week check with the lens fitter. My left eye has been fine, I can leave it in for a good 7 hours now. My right eye is very different! Its a pain to put in and remove and feels uncomfortable after 4 hours. The lens fitter said that I need a new lens for the right eye and that my vision has changed in that eye......could that mean the KC has progressed in my right eye?
He also said having a cold/ sinusitis and hayfever wont have helped! So he has ordered me a new right lens.

Donna,

A change in lens does not necessarily mean KC progression when it is your first lens.

This is because sometimes the weight of the lens changes the whole cone shape. That's why when I went to try for glasses or try for the KErasoft lenses I had to go atleast 24 hours without my RGP's in.

So it is not uncomon when we get our first pair of lenses we have to try a few sets.

So could that be the reason my vision has deteriorated in the right eye?
At least the left one is okay :D
