Ah yes I can just picture it at the conference, a table with fridge magnets, bars of chocolate [this could be a real fundraiser!].
Perhaps we might persuade Moorfields optoms to give us chocolate at each appt, purely for medicinal purposes of course

"Patients with keratoconus are significantly more likely to have mental disorders than patients without the condition,"

You dont think they're talking about the amount of Fruit & NUT I consume to help me with my KC do you?!

:D

Somebody complimented me on my driving yesterday - they left a note on my windscreen "Parking Fine" which was nice.

I can see a paper here some research into chocolate and it's affect on the mental state of patients with KC. Who wants to be a research subject?!

It would be just like the thing for me to be given the "chocolate flavoured icing" placebo, while everybody else got the real Belgian Chocolate hit

Don't worry Andrew I'll put my white coat on [the scientific condition] and wangle it so you are in the real thing group!

You can get hypromellose across the counter and your GP can prescribe it. I find keeping a bottle in the fridge and beside my bed during the hayfever season helpful. I just flood the eye as soon as it starts to feel itchy. It should be ok but do check it out to be sure
