Denner

How long post graft are you. I am 16 days today and still no improvement at all. I'm not expecting miracles just a little something to be going on with to give me some hope would be nice. Is all going well with your recovery? And does your grafted eye look a little different in colour?

Diane,
To answer your question about i,provement first, Yes there has been a big increase in my vision,To the point that the other eye(which I cant really wear a lens on) now seems all but blind. It varies day by day, some days I can sit and watch telly other days I spend hiding in bed with my eyes shut.Im coming up to six months post graft and regarding your other question about the colour,Yes my eye for a long time appeared cloudy and therefore a slightly different colour, this is improving all the time,to the point my wife cant believe that my eye looks so good.

Hang in there girl, along with my family this website has helped me heaps,We will get there in the end I know it.

I think one of the forum members called Knight made a post with KC come backs for any upsetting remarks.
Don't know how to get it up on this post :?

Ah the joys... I too have experienced these comments, never taken them to heart though- it is a rare condition after all. Best way to deal with it is to explain clearly I suppose. This doesnt always work though in my experience- most people forget everything I have told them about KC!
