wish me luck

Postby Sarah M » Mon 27 Nov 2006 11:29 pm

Hiya everyone, wish me luck, today the big day. Cant believe I was told there was at least a 6 month waiting list, and 11 weeks later, here I am, way to get a graft.

Went in today, but there was no beds available, so got to come home, wish is a bonus, as nothing beats your own bed!

Got all the tests done, and spoke to my consultant, and the best news is, I can go on holiday in Feb!!!(its booked so i was going!)

Anyway tomorrow at 2pm or 3pm (he still hadnt decided what he was doing first).

Anne, if your reading this, hope everything went well for u, been thinking about ya!

Hi Sarah,

Well, that WAS quick!

Of course we'll all wish you loads of luck.

It is weird, but members with grafts often tend to cluster together. You and Anne will have someone to compare your progress against!

But remember - we're all different!

All the best, and hope to see you back online soon.
John

Good luck Sarah. :D I'll be thinking of you.

I got to come home again the night before my second graft - complete with my patient identity bracelet. When I'd been all geared up to spend the night in hospital it was strange to come home again, but yes, nothing beats sleeping in your own bed.

Sarah I echo what has already been said.

All the best and get posting as soon as you feel up to it. See if you can beat Anne's response time :) .
